Rowing Community Recognised in King's New Year Honours

Frankie Allen, Paralympic and World Champion, has been awarded an MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) for services to Disability Sport and Improving Access to Sport for Young People.

Director of Performance for the GB Rowing Team, Louise Kingsley, has also been awareded an MBE for her outstanding achievement in the sport and her service to the community.

Clare Briegal, British Rowing's Deput Chair, has been awarded an MBE for her service to sport.

Phil Jones was recognised a BEM (British Empire Medal) for his services to rowing and young people in York.

Also recognised with a BEM if David Pendall, Volunteer Coach at Bedford Rowing Club, for his services to rowing.
